Where are my LADIES at???

This is for the ladies. AND GENTS. But more specifically the ladies because we are going to briefly talk about the lovely menstrual cycle. I SAY GENTS/MEN TOO because it would benefit you greatly to understand it!

Let us review…

According to Google’s AI overview:

“The menstrual cycle is a woman's reproductive cycle that starts on the first day of one period and ends on the first day of the next. It's a hormonal cycle that prepares the body for pregnancy and is a rhythmic sequence of events that involves communication between the brain, ovary, and uterus. The average menstrual cycle is 28 to 29 days, but can range from 21 to 45 days, especially during the first few years after menstruation begins. Cycles that are longer or shorter than 28 days, but between 23 and 35 days, are also considered normal.

The menstrual cycle includes several phases, including:

  • Ovulatory phase

Around day 14, a surge of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) causes the ovary to release a mature egg into the fallopian tube, where fertilization may occur

  • Luteal phase

After the egg is released, LH and FSH levels decrease, and the corpus luteum produces progesterone to prevent the endometrial lining from shedding. If fertilization doesn't occur, the corpus luteum breaks down and signals the lining to shed, which is menstruation

Menstrual symptoms can be caused by changing hormone levels throughout the cycle, such as estrogen and progesterone. Cycles can also change with age, for example, periods are often heavier in the teens and lighter in the 20s and 30s. Other factors that can affect the cycle include stress, hormonal changes, diet, and exercise. If you're concerned about changes to your cycle, you can talk to your doctor.”

Based off of this information, you can see where the hormonal flucuation that a woman goes through every single month can be quite crazy. It is a rollercoaster of hormones, emotions, phsyical, and mental ups and downs.

Now the reason why MEN can benefit knowing this is because if you understand the basics of this cycle, perhaps it can help you have empathy or even understanding as to why any woman who you care for in your life may be acting differently.

NOW I MUST SAY THIS! Just because a woman is experiencing any kind of emotional or hormonal difficulty, does NOT MEAN they can treat people poorly or harshly-and especially not without any consequences. If a woman is using her period to get away with being mean or rude, that is wrong. And if a woman IS hurting your feelings or being mean, you have every right to tell them this, and act accordingly to your boundaries.

IT IS NOT the woman’s fault that she is going through rough times during her cycle, but it’s NOT ANYONE ELE’S FAULT EITHER!

Thus, it is VERY important that there is active and open communication, and understanding on both sides.

I love you all. I hope this reached the right audience —-> ( ALL PEOPLE )
